Plus more importantly, the 5 base races of the original game got some meaty updates that simply aren't present in the original. Everything in game one is there for quick battles and in the Mortal Empires campaign. If you have both games then you don't need to ever install the original, just the second. The perfect thing for me would be a written guide, I will check the thread that posted, but if anyone knows sometthing more akin to a "Game Manual" would be great.Īlso, do you guys think that I should try the first game? In case the built-in tutorial wouldn't be enough, is there a written guide I could follow to learn how to play this game? Should I maybe try the Eye of the Vortex campaign first? If I understand correctly it has a tutorial for new players, am I right? I need some guiding hand to learn at least the basics of the game.
I've tried to play the Mortal Empires campaign with Karl Franz, but there's so much I can't understand, like which technology to research first or where is better to move my Legendary Lord. I have all the DLCs and have installed only the second game, since the campaign of the first one is available in that game as well. I'm totally new to this series, grabbed Warhammer 1 & 2 yesterday thanks to the sales.
